Hi, I’m Adriana LaShelle.

Flying from the East Coast to the West Coast when I was too little to choose, I landed in Southern California and have stayed there most of my adult life. I graduated from the Art Institute in San Francisco, majoring in Advertising and Graphic Design. After leaving the Art Institute, I completed a portfolio program at the Bookshop in Los Angeles. I fell in love with writing copy and art direction.

I got my first job designing and writing copy on websites and brochures for Nissan automotive. From there, I made my way to Art Director on various brands such as Carl's Jr., Hardee's, Farmer John, and even the Avengers (LA's indoor football team) weird, I know. As I worked my way up to senior positions, some of the brands I worked on were Hyundai, Petco, Taco Bell, Fruit water, Sambazon, Goodwill, CHOC, Hyperice, Kashi, Red Bull, and Coke brands.

Working on brand campaigns is my jam: developing company names, writing creative briefs, creating proposals, launching small or large-scale television and social campaigns, writing and rewriting radio spots, developing logos, and sometimes talking clients off the ledge. You know, day to day stuff.

Aside from Advertising, I LOVE sports and lifting heavy things. When I was 13, I competed in the Junior Olympics as a U.S. swim team member. My dad played professional soccer with Pele, yes, the soccer (or football) player.

I also love to travel. I really can't say what my favorite country is, but I can tell you that roaming around Tokyo was amazing.

In saving the best for last, his name is Nikko. My son. My inspiration. My greatest teacher. My greatest success.

Cheers.
